Nora Newborn | Hayward, CA

Getting to photograph Nora on the last day of 2016 was such a treat. With the sweetest of families in the coziest of homes it was truly a magical session. Baby Nora slept through the majority of it and mom and dad were in awe of their little miracle the whole time. I couldn't imagine a better way to kick off the new year.

There’s no better way to begin life than as a baby. Full of hope, wrapped in love, and surrounded by awe. In their tiny fingers and sleepy smiles, we’re reminded that every beginning holds infinite possibility.

The truth is on Mother’s Day I tend to shy away from social media. It’s a day where the sorrow of missing of my mom becomes more acute. I feel her with me in all that I do and I know she remains very much alive in me. But gosh, I miss her
How lucky are we that some of the greatest love stories we will ever know, begin with our mothers?

As we head into Mother’s Day weekend, I hope you feel deeply seen, celebrated, and spoiled by those who love you most. There is no greater or m
